Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa

Once again, the whole of Shimokitazawa is going moon-mad.

What happens?

The hip neighborhood will celebrate the start of autumn and the Japanese tradition of tsukimi (moon viewing) by holding an art festival on its streets. You can expect powerful installations, including a gigantic moon and a fluffle of lit-up bunnies.

One of the main features of this year is an immersive theater event entitled Cat Town which takes place throughout the neighborhood, and invites audiences into a world of poetry, fantasy, and menacing kitties.

There will also be various art exhibitions, Noh theater, panels, stamp rallies, NFTs, and limited-edition menus at local restaurants.
