Kishimojindo Temple is a Buddhist temple in Toshima. Enshrined here is the goddess of safe birth and child rearing, making it a “power spot” for families.
On the temple grounds, you’ll find a majestic gingko tree, the second largest in Tokyo. Surrounding it are red torii gates, enhancing the picturesque atmosphere of the site. Additionally, there’s an historical little shop selling retro sweets, where you can grab a treat for just a few coins.
The shrine is most famous for its grand festival, which takes place every October.
