Each year, the 400 meters of Keyakizaka Street behind Roppongi Hills becomes one of the most popular couples’ strolling spots.
What happens?
There will be around 800,000 lights. Expect brilliant blue LEDs decorating the trees, and Tokyo Tower providing the perfect backdrop.
The Christmas Market will return as well.

The illuminations begin on November 4 and will run until December 25, shining from around 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night.
Where is it?
If you are looking to take the iconic photo of Tokyo Tower and the row of lights, the best spot — without causing a disturbance in the middle of Keyakizaka Street — is just past O-Yane Plaza where the Christmas Market is held.
If in doubt, just gravitate towards the mass of people.
