Taste of Tokyo is a mega food-focused festival that takes place in Tokyo each year to kick off fall.
What happens?
What you can expect is lots and lots of options from a multitude of vendors serving up plenty of tasty treats. Gourmet, local, delicacy, sweet, savory, freshly prepared, and just about any other descriptive food word you can think of will be there — all hailing from the Tokyo area and beyond.
Don’t forget to wash everything down with some Japanese sake and craft beer. In addition to prepared dishes, you can also pick up fresh produce, dairy, flowers, and handmade items.
The event is organized by Tokyo Grown with the aim to share the cuisine and products of Tokyo’s agricultural, forestry, and marine industries — plus cuisine and drinks from the rest of Japan and around the world.
