If your kitchen smells like a roastery and your idea of a good time is debating pour-over ratios, head to the Tokyo Coffee Festival.

What happens?

The Tokyo Coffee Festival is back in Aoyama, bringing together some of the best roasters from across Japan.

There’ll be everything from clean, third-wave cups to more full-bodied offerings, plus sweets, crafts, and a few wildcard stalls for good measure, all in the courtyard of the United Nations University.

The Tokyo Coffee Festival takes place on May 31 and June 1. Days 1 and 2 feature different coffee shops, so check the official website ahead of time to make sure you don’t miss your favorites.

Entry is free, but you’ll need to pay to sample coffees.

The ¥2,500 advance reservation set includes a heat-resistant tasting glass, four tasting coins, and a zine exploring coffee shop connections. It must be picked up in person on May 31 or June 1.
