With more than 300 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors, IREX claims to be the largest robot trade show in the world.
What happens?
First things first: we’re not sure which category the giant fighting robots will be in.
However, the theme of this year’s event is “Sustainable Societies Through Robotics”. The goal is to highlight how humans and robots can work together to solve social challenges.
For reference, the last iteration of the event adopted the theme “The way towards a friendlier society, bridged by robots”.
The expo was divided into two broad categories — the industrial robot zone and the service robot zone. Industrial robots are your typical welding and riveting arms while service robots included personal robots, space robots, agriculture robots, and cleaning robots.

Schedule 2025
This year there will also be an online version of the event taking place from November 19 to December 19.
Tickets 2025
The ticket price for the event in 2023 was ¥1,000. With pre-registration, however, you could get in for free, and this year is no different.
Pre-registration is scheduled to begin in mid-October via the official website.
